Campground Policies

Rules & Regulations

Welcome Woods RV Campground rules are designed to keep the campground safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone. Please review and follow these guidelines during your stay.

1

The speed limit is FIVE MILES PER HOUR. This will be enforced. Anyone caught driving around the speed bumps will be warned once. The second offense will result in removal from the campground. There are kids at play — please drive carefully.

2

No more than two vehicles allowed at the campsite. All others must park in the designated parking area provided. The use of tents requires management approval.

3

Boats and trailers MUST be parked in the designated area provided. Spots are $150 for the season and must be paid up front. Those paying for a spot will receive their own parking spot for the season.

4

No large parties or family reunions without permission. You may not allow anyone else to use your unit unless approved by management.

5

Campsites are rented to you and your dependent children under 18 years of age. Additional persons staying overnight in your unit must register and pay camping fees. These fees are payable at the office.

6

Pets are permitted with the exception of aggressive breeds. They must remain on a leash with an adult when outside of the RV. Keep animals at your own campsite — no walking animals in other campsites. Owners must clean up after their pets. Per the Logan County Health Department, all pets must be registered at the office upon entering the campground. Pet owners are responsible for their pets including injury to anyone or anything, destruction and annoyances to other campers. Welcome Woods RV Campground and its representatives will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any kind caused by a camper's pet. Guests are not permitted to bring any pets into the campground.

7

All electric connections must be properly hooked up and should be UL-approved to prevent shorts at outlets. Water connections must be leak free.

8

Any improvements to sites (including but not limited to gravel/concrete patio, decking, stairs or decks, buildings, etc.) can only be performed by the campground unless written notice is given to the camper expressing what can be done themselves. Management must approve in writing all plans for the installation of any shed. Sheds must be manufactured or store bought — no homemade sheds, buildings, etc. allowed. Only one outbuilding is permitted per site. All campers, their immediate family members, and any guests are forbidden to sleep in any structure outside of the RV that is on the site.

9

Power washing of campers is permitted.

10

Parents will be responsible for their children and/or guests destroying any camp property.

11

Campground and/or management is not responsible for any losses, damages, or claims for personal property from fire, theft, accident, or any other acts of God.

12

Please help keep restrooms and showers clean. Children will not be allowed to loiter around restrooms and showers. Children will not be permitted to use showers unless accompanied by parents.

13

Absolutely no setting off fireworks, discharging firearms, shooting bows & arrows, or air-powered weapons.

14

Bicycles and golf carts must be operated at a safe speed and on drives only. You must have proof of insurance on the golf carts and the operator must have a driver's license (this is state law). Any campers abusing the use of bicycles or golf carts, in management's sole determination, will be given a warning. If issues continue, management may terminate the lease agreement and remove the camper from the campground without refund.

15

All children, 17 years of age or younger, shall have a curfew of 11:00 PM. These children must be on their campsite or in their camper by this time.

16

Health department regulations do not permit draining gray water on the ground or into open containers.

17

Management reserves the right of access to any campsite for the purpose of inspection.

18

Absolutely no camper will be allowed to take anything from another campsite without permission from camp management.

19

Management will cause, without refund, the removal of anyone whose conduct is injurious or annoying to others as determined by management.

20

Management will determine any full-time resident and then will be charged the monthly or annual rate.

21

Cutting, removing, defacing, driving nails, or damaging trees is prohibited. You will immediately and permanently be terminated of park use for damaging any camp or other guest property.

22

Only management will answer your questions and attempt to solve your problems (e.g., campsite repair or improvements, etc.).

23

Any person in this park who sells their camper does not have the right to assign their lease to their campsite to the buyer of their camper. If a camper is sold and is meant to stay on the lot, it MUST be approved by management prior to the sale or the camper will be removed from the campground with no refund in rent.

24

No firewood is allowed to be brought into the campground. All firewood must be purchased from Welcome Woods Campground.

25

It is each camper's responsibility to mow and trim their own sites. With arrangements, we will do it for you for a charge. If we have to mow or trim because you don't, there will be a $25 charge every time we do it.

26

Health Department rules state all campers must be at least 15 feet from the neighboring camper from side to side and at least 10 feet from the neighboring camper front to back. In addition, all campers must be at least 10 feet from the property line and 7 feet from a neighboring shed if applicable.

27

Campers are solely responsible for connecting their campers to the campground sewer system following all state and local regulations in doing so.

28

A $5.00 per day late charge will be added to any outstanding payments required in the agreement.

29

It is not the responsibility of Welcome Woods RV Campground to move campers, work on campers, or hook up campers to the electric, water, or sewer connections. This is the sole responsibility of the person renting the lot. In the event there is a need to move a camper for maintenance, capital improvements, or any other reason deemed necessary by management, the camper agrees to move their camper within three days upon written notice. In the event there is an emergency situation and a camper needs to be moved immediately, the camper permits Welcome Woods RV Campground to move the camper.

30

Holiday decorations are permitted only for the holiday season that is being celebrated.

31

While there is no age limit for RV campers at Welcome Woods RV Campground, they all must be kept in good working order without major defects or mechanical issues. This includes physical appearance. Physical appearance acceptance of the RV camper is based on each individual situation and is solely at management's discretion.

32

Any maintenance issues on sites must be submitted to management via phone call, text message, tenant portal, or in person.

33

Garbage is to be placed inside the dumpsters. Dumpsters are to be used for bagged trash only. Any camper caught leaving large items outside or inside of the dumpster will be fined $200 per item with the payment due immediately. Do not burn trash. No outside garbage/trash is to be brought into the campground.

34

Any RV removed for more than one week from the campsite without notice to the office, or after October 1st without a renewal in place, will be considered the site abandoned and will immediately terminate the Camping Agreement.

35

It is the camper's responsibility to keep their site clean of all trash, furniture, pet waste, etc. Any campsites that do not keep their sites clean, as determined by management, will get one warning. Any further abuses and said camper will be removed from the camp with no refund.

36

Drunk behavior, drugs, abusive language, disorderly conduct, excessive noise, or fighting will result in immediate removal from the campground without refund.

37

All campers must keep management up to date with phone numbers, addresses, and emails for all adults registered to the site.
